“Bill Kristol, The Bulwark: "On the transgender issue, for example, they're very close to just banning you know, like any representation of such a human, I think, in American public life, I mean it's really grotesque what they're doing there.... You talk about cancel culture. I mean they are literally trying to cancel them from American public life, a bunch of Americans, and it's really grotesque. I got to think all this stuff adds up at some point, and people do not want to live in that kind of country."
Total nonsense. No one is banning them especially the men who believe that they are women from anywhere except biological women’s sports, restrooms, locker rooms and prisons. All the places that I and other men are banned from to protect women’s privacy and safety. Stopping children (who will mostly grow up to be gay) from making irreversible changes to their bodies which result in sterilization and the inability to ever experience an orgasm is totally in keeping with what European countries have done based on the best medical evidence available.
Hi Dave! It’s clear that you feel pretty strongly about this! I can totally get on board with you about banning transition until adulthood, but if this is only about privacy and safety, I have a follow-up question; how does banning transgender troops make me, a woman, safer? Here’s another; how does banning the use of preferred pronouns in the military make us safer? I think I’ll quote the judge in that case: “If you can get me an officer of the United States military to get on the stand and say that because of pronoun usage we are less prepared, I will be the first to buy you a box of cigars,” she said.
Brie: First, I didn’t say anything about banning trans troops although I have read articles alleging that they are not as ready to deploy as others. That needs to be checked out by the new administration.
Secondly, forcing people to say things that are demonstrably untrue is simply unacceptable. Men cannot become women simply by adopting superficial, stereotypical aspects of a different biological sex. This is far different from showing respect for one’s military superiors. A general issue unrelated to the trans question is have military physical standards been degraded to increase the percentage of women able to serve.
Love it. Great idea. Sunday quotes. To parse the crazy.
I’m so glad you like it, because I do too! This shall be a tradition then
I love the idea of this for a weekly Sunday take.
PERFECT <3 It’s officially confirmed to continue then!

That was phenomenal.
I think YOU ARE writing a history book. Keep up the good work.
