Emergency Brie-fing: PROTESTS ARE A CIVIC DUTY - National Day of Protest TOMORROW

We do not have the luxury of tuning out anymore. Talk to your apolitical friends and family. This is so far past politics.

Let me speak plainly: Whatever this is, it’s not okay, and IT. HAS. TO. STOP.

We’re down to simple “yes” or “no” questions at this point:

• Is it okay to disobey a court order?

• Is it okay to send people to brutal foreign prisons for life without their day in court?

• Is it okay to rule by executive order?

• Is it okay to switch sides in the Russia-Ukraine war?

• Is it okay to ruin all the relationships we’ve built over 80 years?

• Is it okay to fuck with the full faith & credit of the U.S. Treasury?

• Is it okay to blatantly lie to the American public?

If you answered no to any of those questions, it’s time for you to start protesting.

THIS IS NOT A DRILL.

There are hundreds to choose from, in cities big and small tomorrow. Hydrate. Stay safe. Don’t be stupid.

This administration has already done permanent damage to the country. How we respond will determine whether it’s a generation’s worth of damage, or a century.

I will protest because I am a patriot of America. I believe in freedom, the rule of law, justice, and that we’re all created equal. To hold those beliefs means I must protest.

This is the government our Founders warned us about. TAKE. ACTION.
