#HandsOff: The Historic, Worldwide Protests of April 5, 2025 in Pictures and Quotes
From Anchorage to Atlanta, from Paris to Portland, from Berlin to Bluff— the world stood up. See it. Feel it. Remember it.
Yesterday, I Couldn’t March. So I Documented.
On April 5th, 2025, something historic happened.
In every corner of America—from the largest cities to towns with fewer than a thousand people—millions took to the streets in protest. It wasn’t just a demonstration. It was an eruption. It was a line in the sand. It was the American people reminding those in power: we are still here, and we are watching.
I couldn’t be among the crowds yesterday. So instead, I spent hours gathering what they left behind: images, voices, truths. A record. A living archive of a day that will be studied and remembered long after this administration is gone.
The document is too massive to include directly here—scores of photos, dozens of quotes, sourced and credited, spanning nearly every state and even parts of the world. Substack would choke on its size. But you can access the full collection here for free:

As you scroll through it, take your time. Let the images hit. Let the words settle. This wasn’t a moment—it was a movement. And it’s only just beginning.
We are living through a time when basic rights are under siege. When billionaires treat the Constitution like a hostile acquisition. When the phrase “domestic enemies” no longer feels abstract.
But yesterday proved something undeniable: the people are louder. The people are bigger. The people are awake.

Because it looks like this.

Perhaps you could explain to me what the objective of these protests was and what they accomplished.
